Yes, you have 30 days from receiving your order to request an exchange or return. The product must be in its original packaging and unused. To start the process, message us on WhatsApp or at ventas@goldshield.com.mx with your order number.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track the package in real time. If you can't find the email, check your spam folder or message us on WhatsApp.

If your order has not yet been shipped, you can cancel it at no cost. Contact us as soon as possible via WhatsApp or email. Once shipped, our return process will apply.

All our gemstones are 100% natural. We do not sell synthetic or lab-grown gemstones. The vast majority have received no treatment (unheated). When a gemstone has been treated (typically moderate heat to enhance color), it is clearly indicated in the product description.

Each gemstone is verified with our professional Presidium Multi Tester III, which measures thermal and electrical conductivity to distinguish natural gemstones from imitations. Premium gemstones (certified rubies, alexandrite) include a lab certificate when applicable.

Because they are one-of-a-kind natural gemstones, we only have 1 piece available of each model. Once sold, there is no other like it because each natural gemstone is unrepeatable in color, weight, dimensions and inclusions. Some products such as lots (15 peridots, 11 multicolor sapphires) or pairs (Ceylon sapphires for earrings) include multiple pieces.

Yes, we offer a custom setting service. You can choose any loose gemstone from our catalog and our master jeweler will mount it in the piece of your design: solitaire ring, pendant, earring, etc. Available in sterling silver (925), 10k, 14k and 18k gold. We quote based on design complexity and material.

We import directly from certified miners and suppliers in premium origins: Tanzania (tanzanite, sapphire), Madagascar (Ceylon sapphire), Mozambique (ruby, tourmaline), Russia (Ural alexandrite), Australia (green sapphire), Brazil/Uruguay (amethyst), Ethiopia (black opal), among others.

Mid-range gemstones (most of the catalog) come with an internal Gold Shield certificate signed by our certified jeweler, with a photo, verified weight and dimensions. Premium gemstones valued over $20,000 MXN may include a recognized lab certificate (GIA, IGI, GRS). Ask about the option for your piece.

Our unheated natural sapphires range from $1,999 MXN (0.38ct pink sapphire) to $5,999 MXN (0.83ct Madagascar heart sapphire). Heated sapphires are more affordable, while unheated ones are worth 2-3x as much due to their rarity. We have sapphires from Tanzania, Madagascar, Sri Lanka and Australia.

One-of-a-kind natural gemstones can be an excellent long-term investment: tanzanite has risen +1,500% in 30 years, Mozambique rubies and Paraiba tourmaline have growing demand, and Russian alexandrite is practically unfindable today. Buying certified pieces from premium origins and storing them in optimal conditions is the strategy.

Natural gemstones form in the earth over millions of years. Each one is unique in color, clarity and inclusions. Synthetic gemstones are created in a lab (typically the Verneuil or hydrothermal process) and are visually similar but have no collector value. An untreated 1ct natural gemstone can cost 10-100x more than a visually identical synthetic one.

The complete process takes 5-10 business days:
• Days 1-2: We verify your order and prepare the selected gemstone.

Yes, always. Before shipping your finished piece, we send you a professional photo of the final ring via WhatsApp for your approval. If you want adjustments (prong angle, size change, etc.) we do them at no cost. We only ship once you approve. This is our quality guarantee \u2014 no one in Mexico offers it.

In general yes, but there are 3 considerations:
• Gemstone size: The Premium 14k gold Solitaire takes gemstones of 0.7-3ct ideally. The Glamour Halo accommodates gemstones up to 2ct (larger saturates the halo).
• Gemstone shape: If your gemstone is a marquise or long pear, the Classic Solitaire shows it off best. Round/cushion go with any setting.
• Advice: If you're unsure which setting best suits your favorite gemstone, message us on WhatsApp and we'll advise you with no obligation.

Our natural gemstones are 1-of-1 \u2014 we only have ONE piece available of each model. Once sold, there is no other exactly like it (color, weight, dimensions, unique inclusions). The setting we can replicate (the 5 Ring Builder styles are made on demand), but the center gemstone that gives your ring its unique character is unrepeatable. That's why we recommend not waiting if you fell in love with one.
