We carry the six classic weaves of the jewelry world: curb (flat twisted links, the most traditional), figaro (pattern of three short links and one long, very durable), Cuban link (thick square links, premium hip-hop look), box or Venetian (polished cubic links, mirror shine), rope (braided spiral with 360-degree reflections) and mariner or anchor (oval links with a center bar, inspired by ship chains).
Gauges and lengths for every use
Gauges range from 1mm to 5mm: 1mm to 2mm are ideal for carrying a light pendant, 2.5mm to 3.5mm is the all-purpose gauge that holds a medium medal, and 4mm to 5mm is for a statement look or a standalone chain. The available lengths are 40cm (choker at the neck), 45cm (just below the collarbone), 50cm (over a t-shirt), 55cm (classic unisex length) and 60-65cm (men's length or for a heavy pendant over a shirt).
Anti-tarnish care
Silver oxidizes on contact with sulfur in the air, sweat, perfume and chlorine. Store your chain in a sealed zip bag (included with your order), take it off before swimming or showering, and give it a wipe with a microfiber cloth after each use. How do I know the chain is real 925 silver?
All our silver carries the 925 stamp marked on the clasp or on a soldered plate. Also, real silver does not cause a green reaction on the skin, weighs more than steel and is slightly softer to the touch.
Why did my silver chain darken?
Silver reacts with sulfur in the air, sweat, chlorine and perfume forming a dark layer called tarnish. It is not permanent damage: with silver cleaning paste or a special cloth it returns to its original shine.
